Potassium Broth

This broth has amazing nutritional and cleansing properties, its therapeutic use going back to early Greek civilization and the age of Hippocrates.

It may be used in the treatment of numerous conditions and is of great benefit in a mucus cleansing programme. Specific conditions include asthma, bronchitis, sinusitis, cystitis, kidney stones, peptic ulcers and obesity, to name but a few.

Potassium broth may also be of value in certain cases of leg cramps, if due to lack of calcium, magnesium and other minerals.

Method

3 organic potatoes
2 organic leeks
1 organic onion
6 sticks organic celery
2 organic cloves garlic
2 oz organic spinach leaves
2 oz organic beetroot leaves
3 tbsp freshly chopped organic parsley

  1. Wash and take outer peelings and skin of potatoes.
  2. Prepare remaining vegetables by washing thoroughly, then chopping them.
  3. Place in a large saucepan and add approximately 1½ litres filtered or mineral water.
  4. Cover pan and bring to boil, then simmer very gently for 30-40 minutes.
  5. Strain liquid, discarding vegetables
  6. Drink the essence, storing any excess broth in a covered glass container in the fridge and consume within 2 days.
